Is this an official appraisal?
No. Listing Barcelona offers editorial guidance based on real market, comparables and local knowledge. For an official appraisal you need an appraiser certified by the Bank of Spain. Our indicative range gives you an honest preliminary reference, free of charge.
Can I use it if I don't want to sell yet?
Yes. Most owners use the quick test as a first step of information: understand what you have, what it's approximately worth, what options exist and when it pays to move. You're not committing to anything by doing it.
Does it work if my property is rented out?
Yes, and in fact it's one of the cases where it helps most. We analyze current real yield, compare with the potential of vacant sale, and guide you on which mode is best when the current contract ends.
Should I renovate before selling?
It depends on the neighborhood, the typology and the condition of your building. In areas like Eixample Esquerra, Gràcia or Sant Antoni, a well-executed renovation usually pays back handsomely. In other cases it doesn't pay off. See renovation guide →
