Heir to the medieval Encants (14th c.), the Mercat dels Encants Vells is the oldest antiques and second-hand market in Europe. Relocated in 2013 to a spectacular building with a golden mirrored roof designed by Fermín Vázquez. Traditional auctions, antiques, vintage clothing, books, furniture and curiosities.
Diagonal Mar lacks a municipal market. Residents use the nearby Mercat de la Verneda i la Pau. Saturday morning is the peak.
