The work of master builder Pere Falqués, a pupil of Domènech i Montaner. Its cast-iron structure and colorful stained glass make it one of Barcelona's most beautiful Modernista markets. Restored in 2009, it preserves its original character.
Arrive before 10am to skip the lines at the fishmonger and butcher. The market bar fills up for vermouth at noon.
